For decades, Dr. Clarence "Jeep" Jones served the City of Boston and its people. Jeep's many positions in public service have included Deputy Mayor to Kevin White, director of the Youth Activities Commission, and a member of the Boston Redevelopment Authority Board for over 30 years. He was very involved in civic life in Roxbury, and was very dedicated to talking with and helping residents however he could. Mayor Janey, along with former Mayor Raymond Flynn, members of Jeep's family, and citizens of Roxbury come together to celebrate the dedication of Jeep Jones Square, located at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr Blvd and Washington Street.
