Heat Advisory

With temperatures expected to top 90 degrees with high humidity, Mayor Menino has issued a heat advisory and ordered city cooling centers and pools to be open for extended hours. Mayor Menino also reminds residents to take precautions to stay safe and healthy during this dangerously hot and humid weather.

Apply for the Mayoral Prize for Innovations in Primary Care
Mayor Thomas M. Menino is pleased to announce the 2010 Mayoral Prize for Innovations in Primary Care, a joint effort between the City of Boston, the Boston Public Health Commission, and Partners Health Care. Health care and community institutions which serve Boston residents are encouraged to apply for this award. The deadline to apply is September 15, 2010.
