Mayor Announces “Game of the Week” on Boston City TV

Boston City TV, Boston Public Schools (BPS) and Boston Neighborhood Network (BNN) are producing a high school football special series this Fall to bring you Mayor Thomas M. Menino’s “Game of the Week” featuring 9 Boston high school football games re-played on two Boston cable channels four times every week.

Mayor Thomas M. Menino’s “Game of the Week” will cablecast on Sundays at 12 noon (Ch. 24) and 7 p.m. (Ch. 9), Mondays at 9 p.m. (Ch. 9), and Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m. (Ch. 24). All games will be made available for video-streaming on the web at www.cityofboston.gov/cable/schedule.

The Mayor’s Cable Office produces “Boston City TV,” the City’s TV news service on Comcast Channel 24 (RCN’s 13) featuring city programming, BPS-TV (Boston Public Schools), and the CPB/Annenberg’s Learner Channel. The Cable Office also programs Boston Kids & Family TV in partnership with WGBH on Comcast Channel 22 (RCN 3.)

Boston Neighborhood Network (BNN) serves the residents of Boston by providing program on Comcast 9 and 23 (RCN’s 15 & 83) with major funding from cable television subscribers in Boston.
