Mayor Menino’s Food & Fuel Campaign

Mayor Menino's Food & Fuel Campaign is a partnership among government, businesses, and non-profit organizations that are helping residents and small businesses address the rising costs of food and fuel.

Mayor Thomas M. Menino, working with state, business and community partners, is leading the City in developing programs to help Boston residents from all income levels deal with the rising cost of groceries and heat for their homes this winter.

He has hosted two annual Food + Fuel summits which offered residents a chance to acces food and fuel assistance resources in one place. The summits offered demonstrations by professionals on winterizing your home and tips on how to make the most out of your grocery budget. Utility partners and community based organizations were on hand to assist residents in accessing fuel aid and energy efficiency programming.

In addition to these events, there are a variety of existing programs that can help Boston residents. A selection of these services is listed below.

If you have any questions or need further assistance, please contact the Mayor's 24 Hour Constituent Service.
