Mayor Menino's 2012 Deck the Windows of Boston Main Streets Contest

Part of Mayor Menino's "Deck the City" initiative.

On December 20, 2012, Mayor Thomas M. Menino announced the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners of the Deck the Windows contest, awarding bragging rights for a year to Dorchester’s Back to Life Chiropractic & Wellness, West Roxbury’s Fabutique, and Allston’s Stingray. The 2012 holiday season marks the 3rd annual iteration of this popular event, a storefront decorating competition among 20 Boston Main Streets districts with more than 400 small businesses competing. The three-week-long contest began on November 20th, garnered the attention of over 4000 voters during the public voting period, through which the winners were determined.
