Grand Opening of the BFD Tactical Training Building
The state-of-the-art training facility includes sixteen (16) live burn rooms, three separate and distinct, elevator training simulator(s), an adjustable sensory deprivation maze and various roof hatches. This building provides the opportunity to conduct multiple ladder and rope-work instruction, including pompier ladder training and rappelling exercises. This project included a complete restoration of the drill yard, concrete burn pad (to simulate car fires) and structural pad to accommodate a new flashover simulator.
