Voter Registration Information and Applications
To register to vote in any upcoming Massachusetts election (or to make any changes to party enrollment, address, name, etc.), your application must be postmarked 20 days before the election date. See the Election Department's main page for specific deadline information for upcoming elections.
You can download and print the National Mail Voter Registration Application or the Massachusetts Mail-In Form, complete it and mail it in by the deadline. Boston residents should mail their completed form to:
City of Boston Election Department
City Hall, Room 241
Boston, MA 02201
Residents of other cities or states should mail their completed form as directed in the downloaded form's instructions.
Absentee Voting Information and Ballot Applications
If you would like to vote by absentee ballot, please download the appropriate Absentee Ballot Application listed below, complete it, and mail it in by the submission deadline.

Absentee Ballot Postage
Absentee Ballots require 65 cents postage. Please provide adequate postage to ensure delivery of your absentee ballot to the Election Department.
