Policy Development & Research

Policy Development and Research (PDR) supports DND with program development assistance, research and policy analysis, mapping and data services, as well as grant-writing and technical assistance on regulatory and compliance matters.

PDR staff also oversee the citizen participation process for the City of Boston’s annual grant allocations from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and prepares the federally required plans and reports.

DND Notices & Disclosures - PDR regularly posts a number of notices and disclosures related to the City’s use of program funding.

Hearings & Public Comment - PDR periodically solicits public comment regarding proposed uses of federal funding. Notices of such requests are posted here.

Choice Neighborhoods - Boston is receiving $20.5M to redevelop the Woodledge/Morrant Bay Apartments and revitalize Dorchester’s Quincy Street Corridor.
