In preparation for the start of the Mobile Food Truck Calendar Year (April 1st) please be advised of proposed program changes that apply to all currently permitted vendors as well as vendors seeking a Mobile Food Truck Permit and/or Mobile Food Truck Site License for 2012.

The Proposed Changes for 2012 Mobile Food Truck Program document provides an overview of proposed changes as well as the reasons for them, a detailed timeline including forms to submit, and an explanation of the live lottery scheduling event to take place March 8th 2012. • Information About the Required Business Registration Form

As mandated by Massachusetts General Law, all businesses in the city of Boston must file a Business Registration Form with the Office of the City Clerk. Mobile Food Trucks are permitted to utilize the address of their approved commissaries as their Boston address where business is conducted.

Additionally, Mobile Food Trucks are asked to list vending locations (public, private, and special sites) throughout the city on a separate sheet of paper and attach it to the Business Registration Form.
