  BCYF Summer Guide 2010

  Boston Centers for Youth & Families (BCYF) is the City of Boston’s largest youth and human service agency and the lead department for Mayor Thomas M. Menino’s Boston R.O.C.K.S!!! summer programming campaign.  Included in this brochure are dozens of neighborhood-based summer day camps and programs for Boston’s young people.

  BCYF Umpire Training Program

  What a great opportunity for teens! An umpire training program in which they’ll receive instruction from experts in the field via engaging and interactive lessons. The Eastern Massachusetts Baseball Umpiring Association will certify all participants that successfully complete this training program and they'll be able to work this summer as an umpire through BCYF.

  BCYF Swim League Seeking Youth Participants - Swim Team Experience Not Necessary

  The annual league involves boys and girls ages 6-15. Participants must be able to swim one length of the swimming pool. The league is a developmental league and serves as an introduction to swimming competitively for most young swimmers so experience on a swim team is not necessary. The regular season meets are held on Fridays at 6:00 p.m., beginning on January 8th and the last one is scheduled for March 26th.
