    The City has partnered with PlayLocal to offer tennis court reservations at select pilot locations throughout Boston. Users can sign up for free, and will have access to view park locations, maps and available reservation times.

    "Summer in the Parks" guide now online!

    The Boston Parks and Recreation Department's "Summer in the Parks" guide is now online.  Choose from more than 20 program offerings including concerts, workshops, movies, arts and crafts, sports camps, and more in parks citywide, all offered free of charge!

  • 2015 Coffee Hours (200)

    Mayor's Coffee Hours Begin May 6th

    Join Mayor Martin J. Walsh and the Boston Parks and Recreation Department for the 17th Annual Neighborhood Coffee Hour Series in local parks citywide from May 6th - June 17th. All participants will enjoy coffee and breakfast treats provided by Dunkin’ Donuts along with a flowering plant grown in the city’s greenhouses.

    Troops for Fitness

    As part of the Coca-Cola Troops for Fitness program, the Boston Parks and Recreation Department offers free workshops and classes instructed by U.S. military veterans at parks and community centers citywide. The health and wellness program is made possible by the Coca-Cola Foundation and the National Parks and Recreation Association.
