In 1996, the Parks Department established a program that makes the arts accessible to all people in our parks and brings culture directly into Boston's neighborhoods. ParkARTS has grown to include a full palette of offerings ranging from photography workshops to Shakespeare on the Common.
Boston celebrates the 16th anniversary of ParkARTS, sponsored by Bank of America, with a special offering of concerts, art workshops, programs, and public events across the city.
