Urban Youth Leadership Corps Hiring Peace Fellows
The Urban Youth Leadership Corps (UYLC) is a nationally unique model that unites youth engaged in and affected by violence with violence prevention and leadership development programs based on scientifically based curricula. Each year 15 Peace Fellows, women and men ages 17-24, are engaged to teach and model nonviolent conflict resolution, leadership, civic responsibility, and self-esteem to 400 7-12 year-olds in out-of-school programs in Boston’s neighborhoods affected by violent crime, 200 volunteers and to 30 families in workshops.More Information and Application » |
