George Oi United States Army 16 August 1924 – 11 March 1945 George Oi was born on August 16, 1924 in Charlestown MA. He resided on 14 Tyler St. in Chinatown MA. George enlisted in the United States Army on June 5, 1943 and began active duty that same day. George served as private first class in the Army. He was killed in action on March 11, 1945 in Germany. George was survived by his parents Chin Toy (father) and Chin Yee (mother) who lived in China.
