The Public Works Department manages the construction, maintenance, cleaning and use of public infrastructure throughout the City. We manage streets, bridges, street lights, and pedestrian ramps. In addition, PWD provides core basic services essential to neighborhood quality of life, such as snow/ice control, trash and recycling collection, and street sweeping. Finally, the Department helps keep the rest of the City moving by managing the City's vehicle fleet.
