Supplier Portal Tutorials
The City of Boston has developed online training tutorials to assist bidders and vendors in completing procurement tasks within the Supplier Portal. The tutorials have been customized to explain the process and functionality that City of Boston vendors will be accessing to complete business transactions with the City. The interactive tutorials focus on the following activities within the Supplier Portal.
- Bidding Registration
- Adding or Updating Business Vendor Registration eForm
- Adding or Updating Individual Vendor Registration eForm
- Viewing Active Public Events
- Viewing Event Details
- Viewing Discussion Forum
- Entering Bids Online
- Editing or Canceling a Submitted Bid
- Uploading XML File Bids Created Using Excel
- Reviewing & Signing Contract – Externally
These tutorials will be launched within an Internet browser window through the User Productivity Kit (UPK) application. The UPK is launched directly from the City of Boston Procurement site. It does not require the vendor to download or install any software.
