We were promised flying cars. Or at the very least, hover-boards.

Did you know that Back to the Future II is set in 2015? While we still can't promise you self-tying shoes or hover boards, we are working on actionable goals for our future. Help us imagine a future Boston by asking yourself...

WHAT WILL BOSTON BE LIKE IN 2030?
We're creating innovative new plans for our city to thrive and adapt through Imagine Boston 2030, a conversation that will guide our approach to preserving, enhancing, and growing our neighborhoods. We're just getting started - tell us how you want to lead the discussion. Other city planning initiatives are challenging you to:

IMAGINE ART IN EVERY NEIGHBORHOOD

IMAGINE A 100% HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION RATE

High School Redesign is asking, "What are the most important characteristics of the high school of the future, and what should graduates know and be able to do?"

IMAGINE YOUR 100TH BIRTHDAY

Age Friendly Boston is examining what factors contribute to an environment in which older adults can continue to lead healthy, productive and happy lives.

YOUR VOICES
How old will you be in 2030? Think about this - a baby that's in diapers now will be applying for their learner's permit in 2030. What do you want Boston to be like in 15 years? Hear what other Bostonians have to say, and visit Imagine.Boston.gov to get involved. More
