Mattapan residents are invited to join the Mayor’s Office of Human Services and learn about all that is available to you through the Mayor’s Office of Human Services’ departments at “The City at Your Service!” on Wednesday, April 10th from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at the BCYF Mildred Avenue Community Center, 5 Mildred Avenue in Mattapan. 

The evening will include a brief speaking program followed by one-on-one opportunities with individual human services departments.  These departments include: 

Boston Centers for Youth & Families (BCYF)

The Boston Youth Fund (youth employment)

The Office of Civil Rights

The Commission for Persons with Disabilities

The Commission on Affairs of the Elderly

The Mayor’s Youth Council/ Youth Line

The Department of Veterans’ Services

The Women’s Commission

The Mayor’s Office of Human Services works to meet the needs of Boston residents through advocacy, programming, services and resources to ensure access to opportunity, public benefits, self-sufficiency and improved quality of life for all Bostonians.  City At Your Service events were held last year in East Boston and South Boston.  More will be scheduled in additional Boston neighborhoods.
