Rifrákt is a community of emerging Boston artists devoted to networking and the pursuit of local art. Founded in May 2009, Rifrákt strives to foster a progressive and productive forum where creative energy and ideas take shape. Rifrákt welcomes those working in all mediums who wish to pursue, explore, acknowledge, educate and promote other artists within the community.

"The group does not have a particular aesthetic. “We all use different mediums and different techniques within mediums,” said Stephanie Goode, a founding member of the collective. “It’s more of a strength in numbers thing,”

The Galleries at Boston City Hall are open the public at no charge and are handicapped accessible. Boston City Hall is accessible by T via Government Center (Green and Blue lines) and Haymarket (Green and Orange lines).
