WHAT:  Mayor Walsh will welcome more than 90 programmers to HubHacks: Boston's First Civic Minded Hackathon. The two day event, hosted by the Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIT), will begin a project to reinvent the City’s online permitting experience, one of the most common ways that Bostonians interact with the City of Boston. 


 Saturday, August, 9, 2014:

9:30 AM - Doors open for participants and media

10:00 AM - Opening remarks from Mayor Walsh

10:30 AM - Brainstorm, team recruitment and pitching

11:15 AM - Open workshop hours begin


Sunday, August, 10, 2014:

9:00 AM - Open workshop hours begin

 2:00 PM - Submission deadline for teams, hack presentations, winner announcements
