The Boston Public Health Commission understands that the one year anniversary of the unexpected, traumatic events of April 15, 2013 will be challenging for many people.
With this in mind, they are pleased to host a forum for Copley area residents, employees, and businesses aimed at teaching attendees coping strategies for dealing with trauma. This informal gathering will be led by a counselor who specializes in the field of trauma.

City Archivists Preserve Boston Marathon Memorial
Notes and well-wishes have come from every corner of the globe after the events of the Boston Marathon, but many of these messages are not weather-resistant. The more fragile keepsakes have been moved to the city archives in West Roxbury where they can be viewed, while items such as running shoes, stuffed animals, and baseball hats will remain in Copley Square for some time.

A Boston Marathon Tribute will be held at the Hynes Convention Center on Tuesday, April 15 to honor those affected by last year’s events, including those who lost lives, survivors, and first responders. The 118th running of the Boston Marathon will take place on Monday, April 21.
