On Friday, August 4, 2006, from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., we shall introduce an event to the City of Boston that we intend to make a crossroads in the history of Hip Hop Culture in the City of Boston. “Hip Hop Reconstruction”, an interactive hip hop conference and symposium to be held at the Strand Theater, takes its name and its theme from the refrain of the old-school Hip Hop song titled, Self Destruction, which repeated throughout, “you’re headed for self-destruction.” This event aims to take that warning message and turn it around with a positive spin and an eye on the future |
