Description:
"You already know and love someone living with HIV." The Ryan White Planning Council is a federally mandated volunteer group that is allocating a $15 million HRSA grant to the City of Boston. They are excited to debut their "Someone You Know & Love" campaign. The goal of this campaign is to address and dismantle the stigma that still surrounds the HIV epidemic by drawing on personal experiences of people living with HIV. Chief of Health and Human Services, Marty Martinez, joins the council for the debut of the Boston HIV Anti-Stigma Campaign video, followed by a panel where participants are given an opportunity to speak about their experiences with HIV stigma.
