The South Boston Boys & Girls Club holds its annual St. Patrick's Day luncheon at Laugh Boston in the Seaport District. Mayor Walsh honors Matthew Walsh, the 2019 Boston Boys and Girls Clubs Youth of the Year. Matthew, alongside his brother, used the South Boston Boys and Girls Club to harness their musical talents, forming the Club's band, "The Harmaniacs," As the leader of a Club-sponsored trip, Matthew used his talents to start a music program for disadvantaged youth in Grand Cayman Island. |
