February 5, 2018 - An interactive cooking class commenced the opening of Dot RX, a new program developed by Blue Cross Blue Shield in collaboration with Codman Square Health Center, Daily Table, the Dorchester YMCA, Healthworks Community Fitness, Appalachian Mountain Club's Outdoors RX, and Union Capital Boston. Dot RX is the first prescription-based program where a health plan, community health center, and multiple non-profits have come together to provide opportunities to local families to improve their health. Speakers include BCBS Massachusetts CEO Andrew Dreyfus, Codman Square Health Center CEO Sandra Cotterell, and Mayor Marty Walsh, among others. During the cooking class, participants made "Feel Good Granola Bars". |
