  • REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL: Alternative Education Initiative

    Request for Proposal- Alternative Education Initiative beginning March 20 , 2015, through April 24, 2015. The Mayor's Office of Jobs and Community Services solicits open and competitive proposals for alternative education services under the Alternative Education Initiative (AEI). The AEI RFP seeks to identify programs for funding for Fiscal Year 2016, from July 1, 2015 - June 30, 2016. JCS will hold a AEI Bidders' Conference on March 25th, at 10:00 PM in the BRA board room on the 9th floor of City Hall. Proposals will be due April 24 by 4:00 PM.

  • REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL: Community Development Block Grant - Public Services

    Beginning February 20, 2015, through March 27, 2015, the Mayor's Office of Jobs and Community Services solicits open and competitive proposals for services under the Community Development Block Grant - Public Services (CDBG-PS). The RFP solicits programs that place low-income Boston residents on a continuum of quality education, training, workforce development, and/or economic security programs. The CDBG-PS RFP seeks to identify programs for funding for Fiscal Year 2016, from July 1, 2015 - June 30, 2016. JCS will hold a CDBG-PS Bidders Conference on March 4th, at 10:00AM in the BRA board room on the 9th floor of City Hall. Proposals will be due March 27 by 4:00 P.M.

    JCS has closed the deadline to submit the Letter of Intent for the CDBG-PS RFP. The Letter of Intent was due by 5:00 PM on March 13, 2015. The RFP closing date was not extended. Proposals are due on March 27, 2015 by 4:00PM.


    JCS has extended the deadline to submit any questions related to the CDBG-PS RFP. The deadline is now 5:00PM on Tuesday, March 24, 2015.  Questions and responses from this RFP process are posted below. We will add more questions and responses on our website after 3/24.
