About

The Mayor's Youthline is a peer listening and resource line for the youth of Boston. The teen staff at the Youthline find and research programs in and around Boston, then that information is stored in the Bostonavigator database. The information is available both through our resource line and website. We can refer people to a day camp for a child, an after school program, or a drama class. In addition to the online resources, we have resources around the office that give us information about restaurants in Boston, hotlines for those who need to talk to somebody about a particular problem, or pamphlets filled with activities to do over a school vacation. The Youthline is also a listening line. We are not allowed to give advice, but we are here to listen to anybody who needs to talk to us about a problem. Our hours are Monday through Friday from 11:00am to 7:00pm during school time and 10am to 6pm during school vacations.
