For All Veterans, Active Duty Military Personnel, National Guard, Reserve Call-Ups, and Their Families
The Veterans' Services Department maintains an outreach program called "OPCOMM" which is a military acronym for Operational Communications. The program is maintained to activley engage all City of Boston Military Personnel and their families. Any veteran, active duty, reserve or national guard person and/or their family may contact the City of Boston's Department of Veterans' Services for help with understanding federal, state and city laws and benefits that are available to them. These laws can save veterans and their families legal problems, their jobs, and possibly money.

The department offers Notary Public services for all documents unrelated to Chapter 115. Documents can be noterized through the office via appointment only during the hours of 8:15am to 4:15 pm, Monday through Friday. For an appointment please call 617.635.3026.
