Bicycling can be a rapid way to get around a compact City such as Boston. It's also fun, non-polluting, and good exercise. Bicyclists are equivalent to motorists under city and state law with regard to the operation of vehicles. That means bicyclists have the right to use all Boston roads (except I-93, I-90, and 1A) and must also follow the rules of the road.
