The Strand Theatre
In 1979, the newly renovated, professionally equipped, and wheelchair accessible Strand theatre opened its doors. Since then, the Strand has played a central role in the economic and spiritual revitalization of the Dorchester community it serves. Today, City residents can rent the theatre for special events or purchase tickets to a wide variety of engaging shows.
