    Jhoannette Arias

    Jhoannette Arias, a recent graduate of Brighton High School, is an avid reader and public servant in the making. She works for Sociedad Latina, a community organization dedicated to helping the families of Mission Hill and surrounding neighborhoods. As she moves on to Assumption College this fall, she looks toward the future, dreaming of a degree in History followed by a degree in Law.

    Randy Coplin

    Randy Coplin is a roxbury native anda  Boston Latin graduate with plans to attend UMass Amherst this year. Randy is known for his exemplary conduct and his passionate leadership, as well as his sublime squash skills. He has demonstrated a keen eye for public service through his participation in the Ward Fellowship under Governor Deval Patrick and through his volunteer work at Squash Busters Inc., through which he has done over 150 of community service.

    Caitlyn DeCarlo

    Caitlyn DeCarlo attended Boston Latin Academy, where she was a three sport varsity athlete and class officer. A native of South Boston and an ardent community leader, Caitlyn was the recipient of numerous honors and awards including the Headmaster's Award and the Mount Holyoke Book Award for Service. Caitlyn looks to continue her stellar performance at Lesley College in the fall.

    Justin Lin

    At Josiah Quincy Upper School, Justin Lin was a perennial High Honor Roll student. When not volunteering at Tufts Medical Center, he likes to play basketball and Frisbee as well as practice Kung Fu. To further his dream of one day teaching inner city students at an elementary level, he is moving on to Framingham State University in the fall.

    Yun Man

    Yun Man, a swimmer, mathematician and scientist, is matriculating from Charlestown High School this fall to Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Services. Her extensive volunteer and community service experience at the presitgious Massachusetts General Hospital will serve her well toward her goal of becoming a pharmacist.

    Ihab Moahmed

    A young man with a strong work ethic and a passion for social justice, Ihab Mohamed of Allston will attend UMass Boston this fall semester. While at Boston Latin Academy, he established a Muslim Students Assocaiation. Ihab wishes to work internationally in the field of technology transfer when he becomes an adult. His creativity has served him well, and he plans to continue using it to create something positive in the world.

    Vanessa Omoroghomwan

    Vanessa Omoroghomwan is a resident of Hyde Park and graduate of Boston Latin School. Among her many activities are membership in National Honor Society and an editing position at Teen Voices magazine, the only internationally distributed magazine written by and for teen girls. To further her goal of attending law school one day she plans to attend Boston College this upcoming year.

    Pablo Ruiz-Domnguez

    Pablo Ruiz-Domnguez of Jamaica Plain was the Salutatorian of Madison Park Technical Vocational High School. He worked at Technology Goes Home in 2009, helping parents and students to understand the basics of computer technology. He is matriculating to Bentley University in September, where he hopes his management skills will help him to eventually achieve an MBA in Corporate Finance and Accounting.

    Jazmin Sanclemente

    Jazmin Sanclemente is a graduate of East Boston High and is starting her collegiate career next year at Western New England University. Jazmin is excited to begin learning forensic chemistry in the hopes that one day she may "work at a crime lab or in partnership with the F.B.I." When not working towards this noble goal, Jazmin enjoys drawing and playing volleyball on the beach.
