  • Notice Regarding Buybacks

    We are still working to complete approximately 2,000 service purchase applications after Pension Reform III. We appreciate your patience as we finish the backlog and manage other incoming requests.

    NOTE: If you are retiring within the next four to six months and you have one or more service purchase applications currently pending with us, please let us know so that we may give your service purchase requests priority.

    Meetings will be held the third Wednesday of every month commencing at 10:00 AM.

  • Important Changes to Certain Social Security Services

    Beginning August 2014, Social Security number printouts will no longer be offered in field offices. Additionally, beginning October 2014, field offices will stop providing benefit verification letters except in emergency situations. These verifications are available online and may be obtained anytime by registering for a my Social Security account.
