Affordable Prescription Drugs

Access to affordable prescription drugs has been a topic of much debate in Massachusetts and nationally. The City of Boston is working hard to help Bostonians get the drugs they need to stay healthy. Boston is launching a pilot program to import less expensive drugs from Canada for its employees and retirees enrolled in Blue Cross Blue Shield. Mayor Menino has directed staff at the Elderly Commission and the Public Health Commission to help seniors find the Medicare Discount Drug Card that is right for them. And this website provides links to other resources for less expensive medication.
