District D-4 is one of eleven district stations within the City of Boston. We are located at 650 Harrison Avenue in the South End adjacent to the Cathedral of the Holy Cross. District D-4 covers four of Bostons most diverse city neighborhoods including the Back Bay, South End, Lower Roxbury and Fenway area. The goal of our District is to further strengthen and foster the partnership between the police department and the community we serve. It is through this very important relationship, which includes residents, civic and community groups and business' that we are able to advance the Department's mission of neighborhood policing.
The Community Service Office at District D-4 has a variety of roles and responsibilities as it pertains to public safety. In our capacity we act as a liaison between the community and the officers who patrol the streets and quite often "trouble-shoot" or facilitate issues, concerns and/or problems. The Community Service Office is staffed Monday through Saturday from 8:00am to 4:00pm. You can contact us by calling (617) 343-4457.
