Office of Workforce Development

It is our purpose as an innovative public agency to promote economic self-sufficiency to ensure the full participation of all Boston residents in the city's economic vitality and future. It is also our purpose to be an advocate, clearinghouse, and laboratory for "best practices" in literacy, beginning at birth; lifelong learning; job training/placement; and support services so Bostonians may fulfill their educational and employment aspirations.

Request for Information: Digital Tools for Children's Savings Accounts Pilot

Our office wants to explore technologies that can help us manage, build, and adapt a program that will open a savings account for every kindergarten student in Boston. Specifically, we're looking for technology that encourages families to use these accounts, and enables us to provide excellent customer service and make data-based decisions.
