The Boston Transportation Department is advising commuters to stay on the highway system and off of local streets in the vicinity of the TD Banknorth Garden tonight as traffic is expected to be heavy due to the Boston Strong Concert to benefit The One Fund Boston.  The concert is scheduled to begin at 7 PM.

Drivers, cyclists and pedestrians are asked to travel on local streets with caution by obeying the rules of the road.  Those attending the concert are encouraged to leave their vehicles at home and to take the MBTA to the show.  TD Banknorth Garden is served by commuter rail into North Station as well as both the MBTA orange and green lines.  The MBTA will be increasing service on all subway lines  this evening.
