Four Promoted by Commissioner Fraser

On October 3, 2012, the Oath of Office was administered by Fire Commissioner Roderick Fraser to members being promoted in rank. Promoted Captain was Joseph Provenzano from Ladder 7.
In addition, joining the officer ranks and promoted as Lieutenants were Dennis Devlin from Engine 8 and Alex Alvarz-De Sotomayor of Engine 32.
Hector Rodriguez of Engine 50 was unable to attend the ceremony and will take his Oath of Office as a Lieutenant next week.
