Boston Centers for Youth & Families’ (BCYF) “Snap Shot” teen photography program will celebrate the end of the summer with a photo exhibit tonight from 5-7 p.m. at the BCYF Curtis Hall Community Center, 20 South Street, Jamaica Plain.  The teens will exhibit their favorite photos and will be on hand to speak about the program.

The Snap Shot program is a summer teen photography program.  The teens venture across the city taking pictures at BCYF community centers and events.  The youth learn about photography from their instructors, Mass College of Art Teachers, and from others they meet with over the course of the summer.  They also take “photo safaris” exploring Boston’s neighborhoods, museums and historic sites.

The Snap Shot youth are employed through John Hancock’s MLK Scholars Program.
