Two Promoted by the Fire Commissioner

On March 13, 2012, before family and friends, the Oath of Office was administered by Fire Commissioner Roderick Fraser to two members being promoted in rank.
Joining the officer ranks and promoted to Lieutenant were Michael E. Guilfoyle from Engine 16 and Michael Mitchell from Tower Ladder 10. Presenting their certificates and badges to them was Chief of Department Steve Abraira. Present also was the President of Boston Firefighters Local 718, Rich Paris.
Also promoted to Lieutenant but unable to attend the ceremony was Jonathan H. Hernandez from Engine 5. He will receive his certificate and badge at a later date.
