Boston Girls Invited to "Girls Summit 2012: Let's Keep it Movin'" This Saturday

In celebration of Women’s History Month, middle and high school-age Boston girls are invited to join Mrs. Angela Menino, Boston Centers for Youth & Families (BCYF) and many outstanding women professionals in Boston for “Girls Summit 2012: Let’s Keep it Movin’” on Saturday, March 31st from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at BCYF’s Recreation Center at Madison Park.

This free event will focus on health, sports and fitness for young women and will include interactive workshops and activities, lunch, round-table discussions with professional women in the health, sports and fitness field, a free t-shirt and more.

We need to know that you’re coming so please RSVP to Erika Butler, BCYF Girls’ Initiative Coordinator, at 617-635-4920 x2314 or erika.butler@cityofboston.gov.  The BCYF Recreation Center at Madison Park is located at 55 Malcolm X Boulevard across the street from the Roxbury Crossing MBTA stop.  Enter at the flagpoles.
