Two Promoted by Fire Commissioner

On September 8, 2011, the Oath of Office was administered by Fire Commissioner Roderick Fraser to two members being promoted. Promoted to Lieutenant and joining the officer rank was Firefighter Brian R. Hartigan of Engine 33. Promoted to the rank of Captain was Lieutenant Sean E. Coppney of Engine 50.
These members of the Boston Fire Department were joined by their families and friends along with Chief of Department Ronald Keating, Local 718 President Rich Paris and members of the Command Staff.
