Five New Fire Trucks Ordered for 2010

KME of Nesquehoning, Pennsylvania and Bulldog Motors of Woodville, Massachusetts were awarded a contract for three Custom Engine Pumpers. KME was the best priced bid out of a total of four bids at $418,692.00 per unit for a total contract price of $1,256,076.00.
Emergency One (E-One)of Ocala, Florida and Greenwood Motors of North Attleboro was awarded a contract for two rear mounted Aerial Ladder trucks. E-One was the best priced bid out of a total of three bids at $733,799.00 per unit for a total contract price of $1,467,598.00.
This order for 2010 follows the 2009 purchase of a Heavy Rescue Unit, an Air Supply Unit, a Fire Rehab Unit, two Engine Pumpers and three Aerial Ladder Trucks.
