Murphy Community Center To Re-Open This Saturday

Boston Centers for Youth & Families’ (BCYF) Murphy Community Center will re-open this Saturday, September 19th at 11:00 a.m. with a visit from Mayor Thomas M. Menino.
Closed by the Boston Public Schools this summer for scheduled maintenance, Saturday’s re-opening will feature information about fall activities and programs to be offered at the center, refreshments and activities for kids.
In October, the center will be renamed in honor of two long-time Dorchester families. More information about that event will be available soon.
