ACADEMY HILL LIBRARY VOTERS WILL GO TO THE VERONICA B. SMITH MULTI-SERVICE SENIOR CENTER -- OTHER LOCATIONS REMAIN THE SAME --
BOSTON, MA – Due to extensive renovations underway at the
Academy Hill Branch Library
, voters in
Ward 22 Precinct 3
will vote at the
Veronica B. Smith Multi-Service Senior Center
on
20 Chestnut Hill Avenue
for the upcoming
September 22nd
and
November 3rd municipal elections
, announced Geraldine Cuddyer, Chair of the Boston Board of Election Commissioners. Voting will take place in the second floor auditorium, which is easily accessible by elevator.
Additionally, the
Alexander Hamilton School
will continue to serve as a polling location for
Ward 21, Precincts 14, 15 and 16
, despite its recent closing as an active school. The
James A. Garfield School
, which has now become part of the
Mary Lyon School
, will remain a polling location for
Ward 22, Precincts 10 and 11
.
“The Board of Election Commissioners is extremely grateful to the Boston Public Schools for arranging to maintain our polling sites at familiar locations in the Allston and Brighton neighborhoods. We have worked closely together to ensure minimum disruption to the community’s voters, in light of the school closings,” said Ms. Cuddyer.

Preliminary Municipal Election
will be held on
Tuesday, September 22
, and the
Municipal Election
will take place on
Tuesday, November 3
