The Board of Governors of the Boston/New England Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) has nominated Boston City TV for an “Emmy Award”.
The nominated television segment is Kayla Cox: Female Wrestler. This program is a production of the Mayor’s Cable Office and Sports Producer/Reporter Pat Flaherty.
The Boston/New England Chapter of NATAS will present the award at the Emmy Awards Gala in Boston on May 30, 2009.
Kayla Cox: Female Wrestler was produced for and shown at halftime during several games covered on Mayor Menino’s Game of the Week, a weekly production of Boston high school sporting events.
