Members of the Mayor’s Office of Neighborhood Services (ONS) will begin holding offices in their respective neighborhoods. The new schedule goes into effect this week and allows more residents to meet and have individual time with their coordinators. ONS Coordinators work as liaisons between Mayor Menino and the City’s neighborhoods.
“This is an opportunity for the coordinators and residents to have some face to face time to build relationships and make more services accessible,” Mayor Menino said. “The overall goal is to have residents feel more comfortable working with the City, more information being shared, and hopefully more issues resolved. We want to enhance the delivery of City services and facilitate communication and information sharing between our constituents and my staff.”
