Officers from District 14 in Brighton responded to a radio call this morning at 12:45am for a loud party at 85 Brainerd Rd. On arrival the officers spoke with witnesses who reported that the resident of one of the apartments was disturbing his neighbors with a loud party, and had already been asked several times to stop the disturbance. When the officers arrived at the apartment they heard loud music from the hallway and found at least twelve people within drinking alcoholic beverages. After repeated instructions, the people in the apartment left the area, Andreas Leptourgos, 19, of Allston was placed under arrest, and transported to D-14 and charged with: Disturbing the Peace, Disorderly Conduct, and Possession of Alcoholic Beverage by a Person under 21. He will be arraigned in Brighton District Court on Monday morning.

About an hour later, officers assigned to District 14 in Brighton, responded to South Street in Brighton on a report of vandalism in progress. On arrival officers spoke with witnesses who positively identified four suspects who had damaged side view mirrors of nine vehicles parked in the area of South Street and Commonwealth Avenue. The following people were arrested and charged with willful and malicious destruction of property over $250: Brett Huntley, 18, of Tyngsboro, Patrick McKenna, 19, of Newton, John Joy, 19, of Brighton, David Unhjem, 19, of Brighton. All four suspects will be arraigned in the Brighton District Court.

At 2:30 am, an officer working in District 14 observed Devin Toye, 20, of Allston, standing on the hood of a vehicle parked at 25 Chester Street in Allston. The officer noticed that the vehicle had damage to its side view mirror. Toye was arrested and transported to District 14 where he was charged with Disorderly Conduct and Willful and Malicious Destruction of Property.
