The oldest municipal basketball league in the country winds down its 44th season tonight, Wednesday, August 21st, with boys championship games at 5:30, 6:30 and 7:30 p.m.  Games will be held at the Reggie Lewis Track & Athletic Center at Roxbury Community College.

Sponsored by Reebok and managed by Boston Centers for Youth & Families (BCYF), BNBL serves over 2,000 young men and women in four divisions: Pee Wee, 13 and under, 15 and under, and 18 and under.  BNBL is played at sites all over the city all summer long at BCYF community centers and select local parks.  Earlier this summer, a new partnership between Suffolk Construction and The City of Boston was announced which resulted in a first-ever academic component for BNBL.
