In celebration of Women’s History Month, Mayor Thomas M. Menino and Boston Centers for Youth & Families (BCYF) invite Boston girls ages 11-15 to a FREE Girls Leadership Summit on Saturday, March 30th from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Northeastern University’s Curry Student Center, 346 Huntington Avenue in Boston.  Registration runs from 10-11 a.m. 

The theme of the summit is “Building Leadership Skills to Develop Social Changers.”  Workshops, a panel discussion and a motivational keynote speaker will focus on empowering girls to develop the skills they need to be positive role models in their communities.  Also included is lunch, resource and program information and more.
