Mayor Thomas M. Menino has announced that the City of Boston is now accepting applications for the Mayor’s Commission for Persons with Disabilities. The commission is made up of 9 members whose goal is to help the City meet the needs of persons with disabilities who live, work, and visit Boston. The commission informs and advises the City on policies and procedures affecting the disability community.

We are currently seeking applications from people with disabilities that reflect the diverse needs of Boston’s neighborhoods and communities. Members will be appointed by the Mayor and serve in a volunteer capacity for a term of 3 years. Applicants must be residents of the City of Boston.
